Trials were conducted by ‘INTA’ Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria – Experimental station Pergamino. Part of ‘Ministerio de Agricultura, Ganadería Pesca y Alimentos’

Standard low input N programme to measure benefit of single application of Delta + 1-4-All
Winter wheat variety Bioinita (2015)
Fully replicated small plot trials
Measurement of grain yield, total plant biomass, hectolitre weight of grain and grain protein
2014 / 2015 programme
5th June 2014 – All plots received 2 days before drilling 160 kg/ha urea (80kg N / ha).
17th September 2014 – NHCa Delta + 1-4-All (5 litres / ha + 1 litre / ha) applied to test plots.
Applied as foliar spray in 92 litres water / ha, GS33 (end of stem extension)
2015 / 2016 programme
17th June 2015 – All plots received at drilling 110 kg/ha a mixture of 5.5% N, 26% phosphorus pentoxide, 9.3% sulphur, 11.8% calcium
25th July 2015 – Urea applied at 120 kg/ha (60kg N / ha)
15th August 2015 – NHCa Delta + 1-4-All (5 litres / ha + 1 litre / ha) applied to test plots.
Applied as foliar spray in 110 litres water / ha, GS30 (end of tillering beginning of stem extension)
Conclusions
- Delta + 1-4-All had a dramatic effect on increasing total plant biomass 20 – 48%
- Increased biomass translated to higher yields of 14 – 25%
- Grain weights and grain proteins increased with use of Delta + 1-4-All
